This is one of the treatment centers for women and children addicts in Balkh province which started operating again after being closed for a year.

It's opened for two vulnerable groups of society, women and children. This relates to the National Drug Demand Reduction Program and the Department of Public Health of Balkh Province.

This treatment center has the capacity to admit 50 patients. Family, economic problems and forced marriages are the main reasons for using drugs. They (patients) need sympathy and support considering the many injuries they have suffered.
